The Thermion XG50 Thermal Riflescope by Pulsar makes an outstanding addition to any rifle setup for hunting varmints, big-game, and hogs. Its highly sensitive 640x480 microbolometer with 12-micron pixel detail can detect heat signatures up to 2500 meters away, and project them with spectacular clearness onto its 1024x768 AMOLED display. Heat sources are viewable on 8 color palettes, allowing the user to optimize the unit for specific tasks or react to changing conditions. The White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot palettes are well suited for object detection, Rainbow and Ultramarine palettes help increase chances for recognition and identification. The Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet palettes are most suitable for long observation in the night. The XG50’s selection of palettes is perfectly matched by its selection of 10 reticles with options for direct shot type, ballistic, scalable and regular to allow the user to configure the optic to specific firearms, cartridges, or applications. Other features include built in video and audio recording with Wifi connectivity. This feature is compatible with the Stream Vision App, allowing the user to stream photos and video of the hunt onto a device for easy sharing.
